4. 연제 : Unsupervised Data Denoising through Variance Maximization under Kantorovich Order

Abstract

We propose an unsupervised statistical learning approach that investigates all distributions dominated by the given data distribution in Kantorovich order. In this framework, we propose that the distribution with the highest variance serves as a solution to the learning x-objective. We demonstrate the applicability of this approach in various kinds of unsupervised learning contexts, including principal component analysis, data clustering, and principal curve and surface inference. We prove the existence of solutions to our optimization scheme and present convergence and self-consistency results.
