To nurture the experts who will play pivotal roles in our complex world, the Department of Computer Science and Statistics was founded in 1979. And our department branched off from the Department of Computer Science and Statistics in 1988. We place emphasis on cultivating statistical analysis experts based on 9 eminent faculty members, strong training programs balancing both theory and application of statistics.
